This essay is dedicated to all the teachers in WordGod who have been helping the students to realize their dreams of studying abroad.To choose WordGod or not: That is the question. With such controversial issue regarding which language institute is the best school for TOEFL, many folks may claim that schools with advanced equipment or a large number of students are decent choices, but others, in contrast, would deem schools with informative, enthusiastic, and patient teachers as an even more promising one, of which it is also the stand I am holding.
 
【閱讀】
To begin with, informative teachers are conducive to the preparation for the test covering a variety of different knowledge. A good case in point is Trenton, the leader as well as the teacher responsible for the reading. Spending 7 years studying the encyclopedia, he establishes systematic “Background Knowledge” to assist students in dealing with the articles from various areas. After finishing his class, I am fully cognizant of abstract knowledge regarding the universe; neither the soft science, such as art history or famous figures, nor the hard science relevant subjects, involving astronomy or physics, can be the “distress” to a test taker like me. Indeed, an informative teacher not only helps the students to prepare for the test but also triggers their interests in different sorts of fields.

Secondly, enthusiastic teachers can provide essential assistance to students. Take the speaking teacher, for example. Chinese teacher as she is, she knows more about the students’ need than the foreign teachers do; not only can she perceive what the students desire to express in their minds but she also can help them to convey their thoughts into correct English.
 
【聽力】
Moreover, another teacher, Olivia, facilitates the skills in the listening section through the structural analysis with her unique teaching approach. Were it not for her help, most of the students would be lost in the conversations or lectures. Thus, it is the teachers with eagerness that benefit students the most as a whole.
 
【寫作】
Last but not least, patient teachers are able to bring a great deal of encouragement to students. Take William, the writing teacher, for instance. In addition to collecting useful writing materials for students, he always devotes himself to the correction of the students’ essays. Every time the students receive their revised essays, they obtain detailed advice as well as thoughtful consideration. Furthermore, his precise prediction of authentic questions makes the students conquer the barrier of 100 points readily. Therefore, with his companion, the road to foreign countries is wider and brighter.
 
【總結】
Admittedly, schools with advanced equipment or a large number of students are not without merits, such as ample space, numerous classmates, and so on. Those factors, seemingly, to some people may catch their eyes in the first place. However, if all the reasons mentioned previously are taken into thorough account, I am convinced that the teachers with those precious characteristics mentioned play a still more critical role in assisting students to conquer the grim specter--TOEFL. The best way to learn, after all, is to learn from the best. A right decision I made.
